Grade School Music Teacher
My name is Nikki Harper, and teaching music to kids is one of my greatest joys. Helping them discover their voices, build confidence, and experience the magic of music is something I cherish every day. I believe that kindness is one of the most powerful forces in the world, and I do my best to reflect it in my interactions—whether in the classroom, over coffee, or during a long walk filled with meaningful conversations.

Music is my escape, my passion, my way of expressing emotions that words can’t always capture. I’m always singing, discovering new artists, or playing my guitar when inspiration strikes. My faith keeps me centered, reminding me to appreciate the beauty in everyday moments and to share that joy with others.
When I’m not listening to music, I’m probably curled up with a good book, watching an uplifting movie, or planning my next adventure. And during the summers, I volunteer as a lifeguard at Lake Powhatan, ensuring others can enjoy the water safely while I soak in the sun and the rhythm of the waves.
Life is a beautiful melody, and I try to live it in harmony—with love, faith, and a sense of adventure.
